Coffee production in Honduras was hardly changed at 7.6 mln 60-kg bags in 2017/18, close to the all-time high of 7.65 mln bags hit in 2016/17. During that year Honduras had overtaken Ethiopia as the third-largest arabica producer worldwide一 only behind Brazil and Colombia. Coffee accounts for about 4% of the country's GDP and exports fetch about USD1.3 bin.
