MT. PLEASANT, Mich.-Saginaw County announced on Feb. 1,2018 that effective at 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2 it would temporarily suspend enforcement of spring weight restrictions, commonly known as "frost laws," until temperatures require them to be in effect again. This leaves Huron County as the only county currently enforcing frost laws as of press time on Feb. 2, according to the County Road Association of Michigan (CRAM), which monitors the status of spring weight restrictions for all 83 Michigan counties on its website.
