摘要

As a result of the investigations performed in specialised laboratories, we started to design plants based on the principle of electrochemical deposition of some hard metal layers (nickel and nickel-nickel-alloy). Special electrochemical solutions for nickel and nickel-alloy plating were prepared, having a well-defined composition and parameters kept, in strict limits resulting in the achievement of hard and thick layers (nickel approx 300 mu m and nickel-nickel-alloy approx 1 mm). Following the experiments, the best working parameters were also defined. On the plant designed by our institute we performed the hardening of the mould plate surfaces within the continuous casting, obtaining significant saving s and an increase of the service life (approx 5 times compared to the olds applied methods).
