摘要

As a result of the investigationsperformed in specialised laboratories, we started todesign plants based on the principle ofelectrochemical deposition of some hard metal layers (nickel, nickel-alloy).Special electrochemical solutions for nickel andnickel-alloy plating were prepared, having a well-defined composition and parameters kept, in strictlimits resulting in the achievement of hard and thicklayers (nickel 300 #mu#m and nickel-alloy -1#mu#m).Following the experiments, the best workingparameters were also defined. On the plant designedby our institute we performed the hardening of themould plate surfaces within the continous casting,obtaining significant savings and an increase of theservice life approx 5 times compared to the olds applied methods).
