Dear Editor As senior medical students, your article made us reflect on our lack of teaching in communicating with e-patients. We best understood the need for this during our General Practice placements, where patients frequently attend consultations after reading medical information online. Sometimes this positively contributes to discussions, but occasionally not. Consequently, the clinician must have adaptable well-rehearsed communication skills.
