摘要

In order to improve the cleanliness of auto sheet steels during manufacturing processes, the factors affecting the degreasing effect of electrolytic cleaning procedure were studied from the aspect of surface topography. Four types of samples, made from two types of auto steels and manufactured with two kinds of rolling oils in two factories, were used in this study. Three-dimensional (3D) profiles, surface residues, and the degreasing effect after electrolytic cleaning were detected by a white-light interferometry profilometer, chemical analysis, and cyclic voltammetry, respectively. It was found that the height distribution of the surface, rather than the conventional roughness (5a), should be used to determine the residues for different kinds of auto steel sheets. And the order of the degreasing effect for the samples was contrary to the order of oil residue content. Therefore, the degreasing effect of auto sheets is negatively correlated to the proportion of valleys on the surface, the best place to store oil residues.
