Odour control technology aids water conservation

Over two billion people live in countries experiencing high water stress,according to the United Nations,while around 700 million people worldwide could be displaced by 2030 due to intense water scarcity.While water is a valuable resource and used by everyone for almost everything,one of the biggest consumers of water is the textile industry.Thousands of litres are used to produce cotton T-shirts and jeans and the shrinking of the Aral Sea in Asia is just one example of how the textile industry can affect the environment.Those involved with textile production are not the only people to blame,however.Consumers have developed environmentally unfriendly habits such as washing garments after one use and throwing items away just because they're dirty.
