Carlyle Group and Port of Corpus Christi Agree to Develop Crude Oil Export Terminal

The Carlyle Group and the Port of Corpus Christi announced October 29, that they have entered into an agreement to develop a crude oil export terminal on Harbor Island to connect growing crude oil production in the United States with global markets, and the terminal would be the first onshore location in the U.S. capable of providing export service to fully-laden very large crude carriers (VLCCs).
