摘要

Sabine Pass LNG, LP (CP11-32) recently requested FERC's authorization pursuant to section 3 of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) to install, own and operate a "redundant" high-pressure boil-off gas (HPBOG) compressor and related facilities at its existing Sabine Pass LNG Terminal, located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, so the boil-off gas (BOG) may be delivered to the interconnected send-out pipelines during times when the existing HPBOG compressor is not operational and/or the LNG terminal is not sending out gas through the liquefied natural gas (LNG) vaporization process. When completed, the project will have the capability to send out 34 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d) of gas. Combined in parallel operation, the existing and redundant HPBOG compressors will have the ability to compress approximately 59 MMscf/d of gas. Sabine would like the permission no later than January 2011 in order that the proposed project may be constructed and placed in service by July 2011.
