FERC Issues Certificate for Sabine Pass LNG’s Third Berth Expansion Project

The Commission issued an order February 21, granting Sabine Pass LNG, LP’s (CP19-11) Oct. 29, 2018, application under Natural Gas Act (NGA) section 3(a) for authorization to site, construct, and operate an expansion of the existing Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility (SPLNG Terminal), in Cameron Parish, Louisiana on the Sabine Pass Channel. The proposed expansion of the terminal includes the addition of a third marine berth and supporting facilities (Third Berth Expansion Project).
