The Spanish agriculture sector has been brought to a halt by farmers demonstrating across the country. Anger over low crop prices has mobilised farmers into direct action, and halted fertiliz- er deliveries. Distributors should be delivering high volumes of fertilizers for olive application now, but prices for olive oil are so low that farmers are not applying.
