Farmers continue to protest over low milk prices

Agriculture ministers from across the EU met in Brussels to discuss the problems in the dairy industry at the start of last month. More than 12,000 farmers blocked 84 dairy plants in France, while in Ireland up to 40 dairy farmers marched on the European Commission office in Dublin to protest over milk prices.
