There's no way to guarantee that the equipment you buy today will meet your needs tomorrow, but new design and manufacturing approaches mean machines can evolve to suit changing user requirements. That claim doesn't stand up to much scrutiny. Nobody knows what the future will hold: in five or ten years your organisation may do things in ways that aren't foreseeable today.
