We read the article on' Single-session combined photodynam-ic therapy with verteporfin and intravitreal anti-vascular en-dothelial growth factor therapy for chronic central serous chorioretinopathy: a pilot study at 12-month follow-up' by Fernando Arevalo J and Espinoza JV [1] with great interest. We have the following observations regarding the methodology and interpretation of the results.This study was limited by its small sample size and retrospective nature. Although the authors included a control group, the authors did not explain in what aspects the subjects were controlled.
