Maintaining aeroderivatives in a changing market

As the operating regime of many gas turbines changes from base load to peaking operation, especially in Europe, manufacturers and service providers are adapting their maintenance techniques. GTW visited the MTU Maintenance Berlin facility to hear how it is addressing the changing market needs. Located in Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany, MTU Maintenance's repair and test centre is an important facility for the repair, overhaul and testing of small aero engines and marine/industrial gas turbines.
