Navigating the Curves

I am writing this month's message right after experiencing a 5.9 magnitude earthquake — in Alexandria, Virginia of all places! I've actually stood on the San Andreas Fault, but I guess I had to come to Northern Virginia to have this amazing experience. Another unexpected twist in the road. Isn't that just like life? You never know exactly what curve balls might be thrown your way. But with a good, solid foundation, whether practically or metaphorically, navigating the curves is possible, and even probable.
