Amendments to Surface Water Classification and Water Quality Standards Announced

On 13 September 2017, the EPA announced the amendments to the Surface Water Classification and Water Quality Standards. The amendments were made to improve measurement of the quality of Taiwan's water bodies, safeguard public health and protect the ecosystem. The revisions included five amended standards and the addition of 11 new standards.
