摘要

An effective theoretical-experimental approach to evaluation of wheel steels resistance to contact-fatigue damage (spalling) formation by pitting mechanism is proposed. On the base of the results of experimental studies and calculations, the contact-fatigue life curve of high-tempered 65F steel is built. The results are similar and compared to a model low-tempered 75XTCT steel.
