Nucor selects a home for one new mill and a technology supplier for another

North America - - Nucor Corp. has chosen a site in central Florida as the home for a proposed US$240 million micro-mill and has awarded a contract to SMS group for a new merchant bar mill in Illinois. In a statement, Nucor said the new micro-mill will be built in Frostproof, Fla., USA. Construction is expected to take two years.
