Yanbu Attack Triggers Saudi Oil Alert

A combined missile and drone barrage targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in the Red Sea port of Yanbu last Friday has put the oil industry of the world's biggest crude exporter firmly back in the crosshairs of its regional rivals. The attack, launched by Yemen's pro-Iran Houthis some 1,000 kilometers to the south, involved a dozen drones and three missiles — by some distance the biggest aerial assault on Saudi Arabia since the bombardment of Aramco's key Abqaiq and Khurais installations in September (EC Sep.20T9).
