There is no clear timeline for the resumption of formal trade talks between the US and China although ofcials from the two countries plan to meet next week, US trade representative Robert Lighthizer said today. “When actual negotiations begin again, I cannot say at this point. We are talking. We are going to meet,” Lighthizer told the House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee.
