摘要

The arrival of what could be a second wave of Covid-19 infections in China, coupled with heavy rains in the south of the country, has dented domestic fuel demand but boosted exports. The start of the typhoon season has brought heavy winds and rain to south China, slowing the rate at which coastal ves- sels arriving in the eastern Yangtze River and southern Pearl River deltas from Shandong can unload. Refners say they are struggling to fnd tankers to ship product south. The rainy season is also slowing delivery of fuel from ports to retail sta- tions.
