India’s largest private-sector petroleum coke producers Reli- ance Industries (RIL) and Essar Oil have sharply raised their Oc- tober selling prices following supply disruptions in the US Gulf. The hike in October selling prices follows a rise a month earlier, which was the frst price increase since June. But the amount was unusually large at between 935-950 rupees/t, or over ($14/t).
