PURPOSE:To provide a upper and lower limit measured value monitoring system which automatically set or varies an upper and a lower limit value for measured values. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring means 1 compares a measured value detected by a detecting means 3 with the previously set upper or lower limit value to monitor whether the measured value exceeds the upper or lower limit value. An upper and lower limit value setting means 8 sets plural kind of upper and lower limit values for each detecting means 3. A monitoring condition decision means 16 decides whether or not monitoring conditions including a monitor time and the operation states of relative equipments of facility equipments are realized. An upper and lower limit value selecting means 17 selects an upper and a lower limit value including the measured value detected by the detecting means 3 when the monitoring conditions are realized among plural kind of upper and lower limit values set by the upper and lower limit value setting means 8 and outputs the upper and lower limit values to the monitoring means 1.
