Goudsmit Magnetics recently upgraded its Eddy Current Non-Ferrous Separator,adding options that give users greater insights into the machine's performance.The Waalre,Netherlands-based company this summer announced a new version of its eddy current system,including internet-of-things(IOT) connectivity as a new feature.An IOT module can be connected to the machine's control unit,allowing information to be viewed from any location."This allows operators to see what the performance of the machine is at a glance,"the company stated in a release.Data points the operator can observe include rotor turning speed,the degree of vibration the machine is experiencing,belt speed and more.
