Effect of Concrete Mixture Proportions on the Chloride Resistance

摘要

In this study, a database containing detailed concrete composites information and rapid chloride migration (RCM) testing results is built. The time-decreasing index of D_(RCM) is worked out by considering the effect from concrete portions. All the RCM testing results at different age are converted into the 28 days' D_(RCM). A D_(RCM) prediction model is developed on the base of the built database. It is shown that the developed model has reasonable accuracy. A sensitivity analysis is carried out using the developed model to investigate the relationships between D_(RCM) and each composite. In addition, the developed is also used to optimize the concrete mixture with the consideration of durability and economy factors.
