摘要

The chemical composition of adhesive and adherend involved in a bondline strongly influences the resulting adhesion performance. In this study, nanoindentation was used to mechanically characterize the interface between three chemically different (ligno)cellulosic fiber types and two chemically different adhesives. Regenerated cellulose, virgin wood, and thermally modified fibers were embedded in one-component polyurethane (1C-PUR) and melamine urea formaldehyde (MUF).
