摘要

The objective of this study is to establish two analytical models of rotating upsetting of double-layer clad cylinder based on the upper bound method and the slab method. With a view to verifying the feasibility of two analytical models, the experiment has been performed. In this study, the effects of frictional factor ratio, aspect ratio, shear yield stress ratio, height reduction, frictional factor, and angular velocity etc. on the characteristics of rotating compression forming, such as the specific vertical compression pressure, specific horizontal stress, specific horizontal shear stress for each layer, compression force, and rotating torque, have been explored. The rotating compression forming of double-layer clad cylinder is a new forming technology, it can be offered to industry for rotating compression forming technology of double-layer clad cylinder.
