UC Rusal announced that Sergei Popov has resigned as an executive director with effect from 14 February 2019 due to the election to the legislature of one of the Russian regions. The company further announces that Evgeny Kuryanov has been appointed an executive director and Maxim Poletaev, Randolph N. Reynolds, Kevin Parker, Chris- topher Burnham and Nick Jordan have been appointed independent non-executive direc- tors. The new board of directors will take any necessary actions, above and beyond what OFAC has mandated for the company, to demonstrate the board's commitment to transparency, accountability and good corpo- rate governance.
