New wheel partnership to cut costs and support the environment

Prestige car builder Audi and Italian wheel maker Cromodora have formed an agreement for "an especially long-term cooperative undertaking” that will remain in place for up to ten years. Under the agreement, Cromodora is to build a new wheel plant in Eastern Europe exclusively for Audi and the Volkswagen Group, with production scheduled to begin in 2023. In turn, Audi guarantees Cromodora the sourcing of its wheels for a specified period. The plan is to be cost-effective whilst sustainable and resource-efficient.
