Argentine Commerce minister hopeful U.S.-China trade dispute drives WTO reform

BUENOS AIRES - Miguel Braun, Argentina's secretary of commerce, said the Latin American region is hopeful that the U.S.-China trade dispute will engender changes at the World Trade Organization. "If the trade tensions between the U.S. and China eventually lead to a serious discussion of some of these WTO rules and to the modernization of the system, then that could be a positive outcome," he told reporters on Nov. 30 on the sidelines of the first-ever G20 summit in South America.
