Under the aegis of EEPC INDIA, there was a meeting arranged between the Japanese Foundry Delegation and the Foundry bodies The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) and Foundry Cluster Development Authority (FCDA). Mr Ravi Sehgal, Chairman, EEPC explained the role of EEPC in promoting exports of engineering goods and stressed the need for Technology Upgradation and Development in the Engineering Industry in India especially the MSME Sector. He also highlighted the close co-ordination among the three bodies - EEPC, IIF and FCDA to promote Foundry Technology & growth. Details of IIF working was explained by Mr Sehgal. Mr Anil Vaswani, Past President, IIF elaborated on the Pan-India presence of the Institute and the programmes of training & skill development. Mr Pradeep Kumar Madhogaria, Hon Treasurer, IIF spoke about the membership pattern of IIF which covered all segments of the Foundry from Engineers to Foundry-owners, Equipment suppliers and material suppliers.
