Best micronutrient management practices:for ameliorating micronutrient deficiency and enhance crop producjtivity

摘要

Adoption of intensive cropping with modern agronomic practices, use of high-analysis NPK fertilizers devoid of micronutrients and less/no use of organic manures has resulted in emerging micronutrient deficiency in soils and crops of different states of India. Extent of micronutrient deficiency and the response of crops to micronutrient application varied with different soil-crop situations. There is need for adoption of best micronutrient management practices for ameliorating micronutrient deficiencyin soils and crops and enhancing crop productivity and producing micronutrient rich agricultural produce.
