Workshop on Direct Benefit Transfer-Scope, Problems & Challenges

The Fertiliser Association of India, Eastern Region (FAI-ER) organised a Workshop on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in Fertiliser Sector-Scope, Problems and Challenges at Bankura, West Bengal on 18th July, 2018. Attended by seventy participants representing officials of State Government and Fertiliser Industry, POS vendors, retailers and wholesalers, the workshop was inaugurated by Mr Debasis Dutta, State Co-ordinator, West Bengal Region, Government of India. Mr. Ashish Kr. Bera, Deputy Director Agriculture (Administration), Bankura, Government of West Bengal; Mr. Ashish Kr. Banerjee, Deputy Director Agriculture (Administration), Purulia, Government of West Bengal; Mr. Gopal Ch. Das, Assistant Director of Agriculture (M&F), Kolkata, Government of West Bengal; Mr. D.T. Bhattacharya, Chief Manager (Marketing), IFFCO, Kolkata; and Mr. Ashish Kr. Haider, Zonal Coordinator, NFCL, Kolkata graced the inaugural function.
