The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) - Eastern Region (ER) organized a Fertiliser Orientation Course at Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat on 3rd March, 2017. One hundred sixteen students in addition to faculty participated in the course. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Hemendra Chandra Bhattacharjee, Director of Extension, AAU, Jorhat, by lighting the lamp. Other dignitaries present at the inaugural function were Dr. G.N. Hazarika, Director of Research and Dr. C. Hazarika, Director of Post Graduate studies of the University.
