The results revealed that carbendazim @ 0.2% was effective in the inhibition of mycelial growth (80.7%) of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri. Among the bio-agents, Trichoderma viride, with inhibition (37.8%), T. asperellum with inhibition (30.9%), T. harzianum (25.7%) and Pseudomonas fluoresceins (23.5%) of mycelia growth. In case of plant extract, neem cake @ 7% was found least effective in the inhibition (10.8%) of mycelial growth. The potential bio-control agent, fungicide and plant extract found effective in in vitro were tested against chick pea wilt under field conditions during rabi 2016-2017, seed treatment with carbendazim @ 2g/kg was found effective in the disease reduction (70.2%), followed by seed treatment T. viride @ 4g/kg (65.6%). Trichoderma asperellum @ 4g/kg (65.0%), T. harzianum @ 4g/kg (56.9%) and P. fluorescens @ lOg/kg (50.7%) of disease incidence. In case of plant extract, soil application of neem cake @ 500kg/ha (26.6%) was found least disease inhibition.
