AS MANUFACTURERS RESTART PRODUCTION all-out efforts are being made to keep workers safe. Assemblers are investing in equipment and software to train workers, ensure physical distancing, maintain cleanliness, and evaluate employee health. Many such products will be on display this fall at The ASSEMBLY Show. For example, Creform has designed a simple mobile station to hold cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer and postings about proper health practices and company procedures. It can hold supplies such as gloves, wipes, cleaning spray, towels, hand sanitizer and masks. The structure features a small tabletop, a shelf and a refuse receptacle. Built from 28-millimeter, plastic-coated steel pipe and metal joints, the station is 48 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 72 inches tall. It can be equipped with feet or casters. Accessories include hooks, label holders and attachments for clip boards. For more information, visit www.theassemblyshow.com.
