PT Mulia looks for major expansion

Indonesian glass producer,PT Mulia Industrindo Tbk(MLIA) is investing USD 34 million in carrying out an expansion of container glass and glass blocks production facilities in Indonesia.PT Mulia Glass has an installed capacity of 460 tons per day from 2 furnaces and 7 production lines in West Java.The company produces flint glass bottles for food and beverage segments.The company's glass block plant has an installed capacity to produce about 67,500 tons per year of architectural glass block,which is a building material product,for application on wall and floor.Domestic market is the prioritized market,with domestic sales accounts for about 70% of total sales.This division has technical collaboration with Japanese company,Nihon Yamamura Glass.
