Yamal LNG to ofer spot cargoes until 2020

Russian independent Novatek will continue to ofer Yamal LNG cargoes on a spot basis until April 2020, and this supply can undercut the price of US gas, it says. All production to date from the facility’s second liquefaction train, which came on line in July, has been ofered on a spot basis. And output from the third train, which started up earlier this month, will also be ofered on a spot basis un- til the beginning of long-term deliveries in April 2020, chief fnancial ofcer Mark Gyetvay said on 29 November. But he would not comment on whether the third train has already produced enough for a full cargo.
