Novatek ofers LNG cargoes to Gazprom

Russian independent producer Novatek has ofered uncommitted LNG cargoes to state-controlled Gazprom for delivery to its European customers if pipeline supply through Ukraine halts in January. Novatek could use part of its LNG volumes to supply Gazprom customers in Europe if the transit agreement between Russia and Ukraine expires without the parties agreeing an extension by the end of this year, Novatek chief fnancial ofcer Mark Gyetvay said at the Budapest LNG Summit this month.
