NWS LNG, Wheatstone plan maintenance shutdowns

The 16.3mn t/yr North West Shelf (NWS) LNG plant operated by Australian independent Woodside Petroleum and the 8.9mn t/yr Wheatstone LNG facility operated by Chevron, both in Western Australia, will each shut one liquefaction train for planned maintenance over the next two months. The 2.5mn t/yr third liquefaction train at NWS LNG will be shut for maintenance in September, Woodside says. Woodside took the 2.5mn t/yr first and second liquefaction trains at NWS LNG off line for scheduled maintenance in May.
