Cove Point LNG loads first cargo

The Cove Point LNG export terminal on the US east coast has loaded its first test cargo, after an empty LNG vessel docked at the facility on 1 March and left on 2 March. Cove Point owner Dominion Resources said previously that the terminal began producing LNG on 31 January and would start long-term contractual service in early March.
