UK NBP prompt and near-curve markets continued rising and widened their premium to other northwest European hubs, with cold weather forecast for late November and early December and UK LNG imports poised to remain low. Higher domestic and Norwegian production, as well as milder weather, has reduced the UK’s call on imports from the continent so far this winter, compared with a year earlier. But overnight temperatures in London were forecast below the seasonal norm for most days until mid-December, and this could boost demand and drive Interconnector flows higher than they were a year earlier.
