Angola lng plans to continue tender sales

The 5.2mn t/yr Angola LNG consortium plans to continue selling cargoes through tenders on a fob and des basis, despite agreeing three supply deals last month - with trading frms Vitol and Glencore, and German utility RWE. The latest of these was with Glencore, and announced on 20 September. “Angola LNG follows a fexible LNG marketing strategy, enabling it to provide attractive opportunities to buyers,” the company says. “Tender sales, on both a des and a fob basis, will remain an important part of this strategy, so that Angola LNG can respond to market needs.”
