Total to start Mediterranean Lng bunkering

Total has signed a new supply deal with French shipping frm CMA CGM and or- dered a new LNG bunkering vessel to operate in the Mediterranean Sea. Total and shipping frm Mitsui OSK Lines (Mol) will charter the 18,600m~3 bunkering vessel, which will be delivered in 2021 and operate in the Marseille-Fos area. The vessel will supply LNG to commercial vessels, including around 270,000 t/yr to CMA CGM under a new contract. Total will supply CMA CGM’s feet of 10 new container ships for a period of 10 years under the deal.
