Pavilion Energy acquires Iberdrola’s LNG portfolio

Singapore’s state-owned Pavilion Energy has agreed to buy Spanish utility Iber- drola’s portfolio of LNG assets, including supply deals and regasifcation capacity. Pavilion will take over around 4mn t/yr of Iberdrola’s long-term sale and LNG supply contracts, and 2mn t/yr of long-term regasifcation capacity at the Isle of Grain LNG terminal in the UK. Iberdrola subsidiary Scottish Power had already sold its UK gas-fred power plants earlier this year.
