Perth Basin well spudded

AWE Limited has spudded the Waitsia-3 appraisal well in permits L1/L2 in the northern Perth Basin, Western Australia. On 22 May, the well was at 1,214m (3,983ft) measured depth below rotary table (MDRT) pulling out of a 445mm hole and preparing to run 340mm surface casing.
