Lukoil-KazMunayGaz study pact

Russia’s Lukoil and Kazakhstan’s state-owned KazMunayGaz have signed an agreement on joint studies in Kazakhstan. The two companies agreed on major terms of cooperation and expressed “their willingness to start studies on mineral resources in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of cer- tain areas in Kazakhstan,” said Lukoil.
