ANs crude slides to 3-year low on saudi price cut

A massive slash to the ofcial selling prices (OSPs) for Saudi Arabian crude oil and expectations of higher supply contribut- ed to sliding prices at the US west coast for competing Alaskan North Slope (ANS) cargoes. ANS fell by $2.60/bl against CMA Ice Brent yesterday to trade at a $2.95/bl discount to the benchmark for May delivery to the US west coast, refecting the grade’s lowest reported discount against Ice Brent since October 2016.
