Cash crude prices fell in the week to June 24, due primarily to the IEA's announcement on Thursday that it will coordinate the release of 60MM bbl of emergency crude. The news pressured down futures and spot prices for crude and oil products. Meanwhile, premiums for Alaska North Slope (ANS) crude jumped, reaching $19/bbl on Wednesday, which traders said appeared to be a record high.
